Is there a way to recover a deleted sms?
I hope I am able to get this resolved as this is very important. Eventually, I have a Samsung Galaxy S and I have been keeping all the texts that my x and I have been exchanging and I accidentally deleted the whole thread. Is there anyway to recover that one thread of the texts?
This is a trick matter, since it depends on where are your SMS being saved. If you have saved the information on your mobile phone SD card, its possible to recover them since the files on every SD Card don't get erased immediately.
When a file gets deleted from an SD Card, the space occupied by that file get marked as vacant so allow subsequent files are written on that spot. So, unless the space already been overwritten by new data, your deleted SMS thread is still there and can be retrieved.
You will need an SD card Reader and an SD card Data Recovery software.
