Without confusing things with the full details, at one point I had 2 contacts that shared an e-mail address. In Google contact manager, I changed them later on to not share an e-mail address or phone numbers, but my Android refuses to ungroup them as a contact. They do have the same address and last name, but different phone and e-mail addresses now, and I'd prefer not to change those shared contact details. Is there anything I can do to override the way my phone is grouping them?

Will deleting the contact storage data from the phone allow the contacts to rebuild safely and possibly fix this issue?
