I have a gooapple 5. After I did a factory reset it says invalid IMEI. I followed the solution from here:

but no luck because:

  1. I did the factory reset before I saved the original modem.img (I didn't know I had to do it)
  2. When I go to the data folder there are NO files whatsoever at all. It is just an empty folder named data. This extension nvram/md/NVRAM/NVD_IMEI/MP0B_001 is not there!

I am using the z4root and rootexplorer to access the files.

Please can someone help with detailed instructions on how to fix this problem?
