I have a paid application; a user that has already bought this app more than 15 minutes/48 hours ago (I didn't get what's the new time limit for the user to ask for a refund) is helping me a lot with some issues and has made me able to improve my app. I want to thank him by refunding him the money he spent buying my paid app.

In Google Checkout in each order there's the "refund some money.." button: if I refund him by hitting this button, the app will be deleted from his smartphone / he will lose future updates? If the answer is YES, how can I give his money back but make him able to keep my app and be able to get future updates?

ps: I know that i can ask him his Google Checkout / PayPal account and transfer him the sum, but I'd like to know if there's a better way.

Questions like this about the Android Market (or any app store for that matter) aren't really on topic for this site; this site is to help solve problems users have with their Android devices. That said, there's not really a place within the Stack Exchange network right now where this would be on-topic. There is a proposal for an app stores stack exchange where this would be on topic, but it's still in the commitment phase. I know this is not on-topic, but on StackOverflow (that is the site where I primary ask questions) it would have been more off-topic than here. I tried asking on some forums but I didn't get a good answer and StackExchange network has gave me the best android answers when I needed, so I tried to ask it here.
