For nine consecutive days (starting from 18.10.11) I was using over 900 MB each day and have been charged nearly £450 for the pleasure. Despite 35 e-mails attempting to get to the bottom of it, my provider can not substantiate this other than provide the WAP usage. I was wondering whether there was any software release on this date or there is any explanation anyone could provide in order that I can take it up with my provider further ?

How often do you typically use your phone's data connection? Do you use any kind of streaming media services? – eldarerathis Feb 7 '12 at 0:55
There are apps you can use to monitor the data usage on your phone, see this question How to monitor the amount of data traffic? or How can I manage/track the data use on a HTC Inspire? but unfortunately this is probably too late for you, unless your phone is still using large amounts of data in which case these might help track down the culprit. – GAThrawn Feb 7 '12 at 15:12
