Is it possible on Android 2.3 to enable sound alert when calling on a busy line? It shows on screen that the number being called is busy talking on one of the lines, but who looks at the screen when calling?

It should be possible to enable a beeping sound or something telling me the number I am calling is talking on another line.

Yes, but the phone can decide how to inform the user. Android chose to show a notification on screen. Nokia phones can do that as well as make a distinct beeping sound which you can turn on or off in the sound settings. That's what I want. – Francisc Mar 19 '12 at 12:57
