I have Android and iOS devices so I use Dolphin's browser for the bookmark sync. Is there any way I can get my Chrome bookmarks to sync into my Dolphin bookmarks at least once?

I'm aware of Chrome to Phone ect but so far all solutions I see either keep my bookmarks in a separate app (useless for dolphin sync) or they only copy them to the default Android browser which I don't use.

My phone's Android 2.3.3 so I can't use Chrome for Android yet.

The Dolphin developers actually had a Chrome extension for this, but they pulled it because it was buggy (that's my understanding anyway). Might be worth keeping an eye on, I suppose: dolphin-browser.com/2012/03/… – eldarerathis♦ Apr 3 '12 at 15:30

Install Bookmarks to SD add-on of Dolphin Browser HD. Its not only for saving bookmarks to SD, but it features Sync with Google Bookmarks.Use this feature.
Then, sync Chrome bookmarks with Google Bookmarks (there're many chrome extensions for that). Done!

Another way is to use Xmarks. It has Chrome extension as well as Dolphin add-on. But, you'd need its premium subscription to use Dolphin add-on.

@Ben Just make sure not to be confused with Chrome bookmarks which is different from Google Bookmarks. You'd need a third-party chrome extension for sync. – Sachin Shekhar Apr 3 '12 at 15:48

Xmarks, which is now owned by LastPass, Premium service (1$/month) is able to sync bookmarks across various platforms and browsers.

Did Xmarks ever fix the bug that duplicates your bookmarks? I tried to use Xmarks to sync Chrome to IE to sync to Mobile Safari and ended up with 3 sets of each folder...in each browser :/ – Ben Brocka Apr 3 '12 at 16:51

I have no problems with duplicates and I make heavy use of Xmarks (and LastPass). If there are duplicates, then it's because of the initial sync and/or a wrong sync option/merge. Deleting the duplicates and syncing again should also delete the duplicates on all other synced browser instances and fix the problem. At least that it's my experience and I also don't think that Xmarks has had a general duplicate bug which affects every user. – Flow♦ Apr 3 '12 at 17:24
