I'm having a weird problem on my milestone 2; Wenever I take a picture, it won't save properly, instead, all I can see is a gray icon with a montain. When I try to record a video it shows a deformed image and then returns to the main screen.

Any idea why this is happening or what I can do about it?

Not sure whether it's a hard- or software issue. Did you try any other app which uses the camera to verify whether the hardware is working? Also, what firmware you are running, which Android-version, possible modifications (root/custom ROM/...)? It's hard to guess with so few data. – Izzy Aug 7 '12 at 10:51
