Here is my problem. I have set up my phone's email with an Exchange server. It works just fine EXCEPT for one part. If I log off of the computer, close out Outlook on my computer, or the computer goes to sleep (after 1 hr of no activity) then I am unable to receive any emails on my phone. I can send emails, just not receive any from the server.

Is there some way to fix this?

I'm not sure I understand how this is related to Android. Are you saying that when you log out of Outlook on your PC that your phone no longer receives emails? – eldarerathis Jun 7 '12 at 2:15
That is correct. I am not sure if it is the phone that is the problem or the operating (android) system that is the problem. – Roger Lans Jun 7 '12 at 12:27
Okay, that makes more sense. Are you just using your phone's default email app, or something else? What kind of phone is it? – eldarerathis Jun 7 '12 at 13:44
I am using the phone's default email app. Samsung Galaxy S2. – Roger Lans Jun 7 '12 at 18:31
