When I send a sms to, say, 5 persons, their full names are queued at the top of the conversation, separated by a comma and it don't find any way to access them (to read them all, for instance).

This is a major problem when you want to come back to a multiple-recipients conversation (to send a message to all of them at once) but you don't remember who's in the conversation.

I can understand why this list isn't editable, but is there any way to review this list of all the recipients via the native SMS/MMS application ?

The messaging app is often customized by the device manufacturer. What phone or tablet are you using? – Mr. Buster Mar 8 at 18:56
It's a Galaxy Nexus with Cyanogenmod 10. – Anto Mar 9 at 1:37

If you want to see which participants are involved in your Group chat( Group SMS) ,

Press Menu-->Group Participants
Their name will be listed. Clicking on their contact image will redirect you to their contact info.

NOTE: you can't edit that group in native sms/mms app.
