When I schedule an event in the standard calendar on a HTC Desire HD, the HTC Locations app is used to show the map to the location if I provide one. I want it to use Google Maps instead. I searched the settings but can't figure out how to do this. Any ideas?

You could try looking up the HTC Locations app in Settings > Applications > Manage Applications and see if you can Clear default there (in case it is setup as default app for some location event). But I doubt that: Both (calendar and locations) being HTC apps, pre-installed and probably part of the same suite (HTC Sense), they're more likely hard-linked together. – Izzy Dec 22 '12 at 16:00
