I have a problem , due to several problems with my internet provider, ( they will be resolved in 2 weeks I have been promised) I been using my mobile as a modem for my pc. My pc is linux based and tethering works well the problem is that in wifi I get no signal so I enable 3G. Now I am working away and about 20 minutes later it automatically goes from 3G to Wif fi and I have to once again go to the phone to enable 3g. Anyone got an idea of how I can just disable this automatic reversion to wifi. Even while typing this it this demon has reared its ugly head. So please help me

If you don't need WiFi why don't you disable it from Setting menu? – roxan Jul 14 '12 at 18:33
Looks like he just left a few hours after placing his question -- and never returned. So probably he found out about your suggestion before you made it. You might just place it as an answer (maybe including screenshot ;) to get this question off the "open questions" list ;) – Izzy Aug 7 '12 at 9:46
