For the most part I like the Maxthon web browser for Android, but I really dislike that, on my phone at least, it is extraordinarily slow to start-up. When I click on the Maxthon icon, the phone's screen goes black, and unresponsive, for what feels like an eternity (20-30s).
This one flaw of the Maxthon is bad enough that I'm about ready to uninstall it. It's otherwise a nice browser, though, and I'll keep it if I can find some way to fix its currently unacceptably slow (and device-crippling) start-up.
Any suggestions?

PS: FWIW, my experience of the problem has the "look-and-feel" of the timing out of a failed resource acquisition attempt by the app, but I have not been able to find any confirmation of this.
