How can I view books on Google Books other than using a browser? Is there an app which download all the images of the book? I'm not talking about books on Google Play.

Can you give some examples of books you mean? There are a lot of "public libraries" with free content, many using an OPDS catalog accessible from within many eBook readers. – Izzy Aug 14 '12 at 19:57

I thought Google Play Books takes care for them as well? I know of no other app -- but plenty other catalogs. Which would be OT here, unfortunately. – Izzy Aug 14 '12 at 22:50
