I am not using the Phone message to text option on my HTC. Now I am missing voicemail when people call me. I currently have 14 backed up voicemails and they are in reverse order. Is there a way to get a notification when a message is left on the server like with the older phones?

This is highly dependant on your carrier, since different carriers and countries handle voicemail differently. For example, here in Finland, voicemail notifications are pushed as SMS by all operators and it's not configurable. – onik Aug 15 '12 at 7:08
What onik said goes for Portugal as well! The same goes for notifications when a number we have been trying to dial gets available. – Zuul Aug 19 '12 at 22:38
