What the title say.

Except if all of them use the same GPS chip (I don't count A-GPS, I expect all to use that functionality when available), I am trying to find out if there is any difference between the currently available Android phones on that department.

Unfortunately the only question I found close to what I ask, was comparing HTC Desire with external GPS receivers.

I can't speak on the GPS chips that each has and/or their sensitivity, but the new version of the GPS Status app will allow you to record a time to fix stat. Of course, you would never be able to probably create a great test environment as that would be expensive, but if someone did have multiple Android phones they could theoretically test the sensitivity based on time to first fix.

is time to first fix good proxy for accuracy? – radek Aug 29 '11 at 21:35
