I am wondering if anyone can help me with my situation. I was using JAF 2.3.7 Rom for about 3 months with no issues. After installing Prey as well as Dropbox (only 2 new apps) the phone started to restart on its own randomly. As I was already out, I did not have a chance to reflash it.

After listening to music and putting it away, the next time I pulled it out I got the usual Vibrate and then nothing when I tried to turn it on. It did this the rest of the night. In the morning I got the 3 red blinks (1, 1, 1, stop). Charging the phone did not change this.

When I finally did get home and I plugged it in, the computer recognizes a connection. So does SEUS and flashtool. However I am unable to proceed past the "How to connect your phone screen" In SEUS. In flashtool I get:

"ERROR - (x10flash.java:365) -ERR_SEVERITY="MAJOR";ERR_CLASS="SECURITY_CLASS";ERR_DYNAMIC="SIN header verification failed"

After that I hear it disconnect and then it reconnects. If I try and flash again I am stuck at the message: INFO - (X10flash.java.431) - Reading device information

As mentioned before I was running JAF 2.3.7 with a Locked Bootloader. Is there anyway that I can recover my phone ? or is it just bricked now for good ?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Can you get to the phone's recovery or fastboot mode? If so the phone isn't totally bricked and you should be able to re-flash to recover it. –  GAThrawn Aug 21 '12 at 9:31
I have flashed many roms before, None of the techniques I have used in the past are working. Flashtool gives the error stated above. SEUS will not recognize the phone. When I get it into repair mode it states that I must shutdown Wininit.exe to continue (which if done, the computer then freezes). My only hope left is that since the computer does recognize a connection when the phone is connected, is there any way i could push files from android sdk ? or something similar ? –  Mike Aug 22 '12 at 2:07
