Android Enthusiasts Stack Exchange is a question and answer site for enthusiasts and power users of the Android operating system. It's 100% free, no registration required.

I have a HTC Flyer (sold by Sprint with 4G, but same device nonetheless). No custom mods, just the stock install updated to Android 3.2.

I have recently started having this problem: once my device discharges and powers off, it takes a really long time to charge again and turn it on.

Anyone else having this problem? Is there a fix?

are you charging via USB or via the wall? USB will take longer, and some devices don't like to charge at all via USB if they go completely dead. – Ryan Conrad Aug 24 '12 at 22:13
I tried both. It has started working again; I forget if it was after connection to a wall or a USB. Anyway, its fine for now - thanks for the pointer. – Suman Aug 27 '12 at 16:24
