After a hard reset because no videos would play at all,I thought I'd reinstalled everything correctly until I discovered nothing I'd send from it would reach their destinations. Now it seems I'm not able to install ANY email at all. After each attempt I'm told "Connection Failed". Solutions?

Can you make a bit clearer what you tried and where it failed? All I get from your question is you cannot send mail -- but without knowing what app(s) you tried (gmail, stock-email, k9, ...), and how your setup looks like, it's hard to help. According to your question, you have no accounts set up -- so how do you expect to send mail then? – Izzy Aug 26 '12 at 19:46
Okay, your questions were key. After deleting all the accounts and reinstalling them using the Social Hub app and not the Email app and unchecking 'Set as premium account (POP/IMAP)' and unchecking 'Send email from this account by default' the problem of not being able to send from an account which isn't a google account has been corrected. I still don't understand why this was the remedy but I don't think I need to. Do I? Thank you. – Kevlarite Aug 27 '12 at 9:53
As long as it works -- worry next time or learn in advance ;) Would you mind posting your solution as answer, and accept it? That way others with a similar problem can easier identify this as having a solution. Thank you! – Izzy Aug 27 '12 at 10:43
