I am trying to write a file to my pendrive from my android tablet, but it keeps saying permission denied.

Should it not be me who determines the permissions?

How is the pendrive formated? – Flow Sep 14 '12 at 18:22
Can you tell me ,How are you trying to copy ,and where?what keeps saying permission denied?and you're not the one who determines the permissions (unless you're rooted) – Mohamed Essam Sep 14 '12 at 19:52
I don't know the formatting of the pendrive, but I think it is nothing special, I just bought it in a shop and left it that way. I has always worked perfectly, also on my android device until last night before it decided that I do not have permissions. – mnr Sep 15 '12 at 6:44
I try to copy paste a file from the android sdcard to the pendrive using the standard file browser which is indluced with android. This file browser keeps saying permission denied. Other file browsers either say the same, or simply crash (but I guess this crashing is just a bug in those file browsers, I am sure it is really something with permissions) – mnr Sep 15 '12 at 6:46
