I've set up shortcuts to chats with certain contacts in Whatsapp and I wanted to do the same with Viber, but when I go to "Personalize" -> "Shortcut" -> "Viber" it doen't work as expected. One of 2 things happens:

  1. Viber opens up, but nothing is changed on the Home Screen. Even if I select a conversation or a contact.

  2. The "Shortcuts" menu is opened again

I'm running Blackout Team ICS in HTC Desire HD. I know this is a custom rom but back when i was using the stock rom I had the same problem.

Hmm... on CM9.1 on S2. Tried adding SHORTCUT > VIBER >... screen flashed; nothing happened. Can any other users pls verify? – Sparx Sep 17 '12 at 16:21

It also does not work on Xperia S with stock ICS rom. So, I think it's a bug from Viber and should be reported to the developer. – yrajabi Sep 17 '12 at 16:50
