I had a Coby Kyros tablet runing Android and opted to get a Kindle fire for my little guy (seems more user friendly and the ebooks for kids seem more abundant) well. I opted for ebay and the one that I bought is rooted (would have been nice if he had said so). Best I can tel it's running 4.0.3 and has Cyanogenmod Trebuchet 0.1.

I can not for the life of me get this to be recognized by USB. It half registers (shows kindle says needs drivers) and shows that it would be my F: drive but when I try to access said drive from My computer it is in fact not there.

I know that I can restore it to stock provided, I get my computer to recognize it.

PS: running Windows 7
