I have an N7000 running Paranoid Android 2.1, which is based on CM10. As far as I can remember, I've always been able to connect to my phone via ADB, when USB Debugging is enabled in Settings.

The last time I connected was probably some time last week. As of today however, my phone refuses to connect via adb. adb devices gives a blank list and adb shell fails with device not found. The phone shows up fine as an MTP device.

I have all the requisite drivers, and I can connect using adb shell when I'm booted into ClockworkMod recovery.

Additionally, the "USB debugging" option seems to reset every time I reboot my phone.

Does anyone know of a potential solution to this that does not involve a full wipe and restore?

A full wipe solved the problem, but I'd still like to know if there is an alternative for future reference. – Chinmay Kanchi Oct 25 '12 at 16:35
