I want to change the preferred network type from the current setting of 'unknown'. I go into the tablet using the *#....access and it lets me see all the various info sections. When i go into Tablet Info I can see that the network type is 'unknown', so i go to change it to access the options for the network types (wcdma, gsm, etc), see what i want (which is WCDMA Preferred) but when i click on it, it just goes back to showing 'unknown'.
Can anyone help me understand why and what i need to do so that the preferred type stays locked in?
