i'm following the official wiki, but i'm stuck at step 2 http://wiki.cyanogenmod.org/wiki/Nexus_One:_Compile_CyanogenMod_(Linux)#Copy_proprietary_files

cd ~/android/system/device/htc/passion/ 
./extract-files.sh

there's no file with that name in the (gigabytes and gigabytes of) repository i just downloaded on step 1.

what am i missing?

Maybe you should ask this in the CyanogenMod Forum -- the ones who wrote that Wiki should know ;) – Izzy Dec 24 '12 at 10:56
