I am trying to root my Micromax A52 Aisha by following the rooting process given in this procedure which specifies that I have to use the SP Flash Tool to root my device.

My question is: what images to I need to select to flash? Do I have to select all the options or only boot.img or recovery.img?

Those look like instructions for creating/restoring a backup of a Micromax tablet (possibly a different one, actually - it notes it's for the A90). The top of the first post says Note: Root Required. – eldarerathis♦ Nov 14 '12 at 21:33
True, but the steps might be able to be used. Use the files for the A52 at droidextra.org/2012/09/25/root-micromax-a52-aisha.html, but see if the steps in the other post help. – WoodsLink Nov 14 '12 at 21:38
