I tried to encrypt the internal storage of my GS3 but it required me to set a password "at least 6 characters long and containing at least a number".

All the Android devices I have used so far only required a PIN to allow device encryption.

A complex-enough password is surely more secure but less user-friendly for a mobile device that, anyway, doesn't host more corporate-sensitive data than the owner's birthday photos :)

I'm root. Does anyone know a way to change the encryption policy of Android?
