Once I had an iPhone, and when I intended to sell it, I went to its setting and changed my default phone number (as there is a choice in the iPhone settings allow you to add your phone number). Now I have a Galaxy S3 and it seems like my SIM saved the changed phone number (00). This is affecting my communications programs like Tango, WhatsApp and others when I try to verify the phone number in them. Is there any way that I can solve this issue?

Have you taken a look at How do I change the default phone number? or Change own phone number in ICS? (I don't know if those methods still work or not) – eldarerathis Dec 7 '12 at 22:54
