Whether using Swype or entering digits one at a time, when I enter numbers, I have to tap the end of the text entry field before entering the next digit. Otherwise, it will move the insertion point one number to the left. This is frustrating with passwords, where I can't see the numbers being entered. This is also happening with my husband's new Galaxy S3. Entering text is working fine. Please advise.

Try turning off predictive text input for numbers? It sounds like as if its attempting to detect a letter and moves the insertion point to the left... – t0mm13b Dec 21 '12 at 14:13
You can always make passwords visible by un-checking the option at settings -> security -> passwords if that's the problem. But t0mm13b's suggestion should be tried first. Please try to clarify your question a little bit. :) – Sid Dec 21 '12 at 16:03
