I have just downloaded Datadroid Forms Pro from the Play Store.

After installation it seems to show that I have downloaded the "Lite" version instead of the "Pro" version and I don't understand why this is happening. I have uninstalled and again downloaded the same app but again I get the same problem.

Issues are that I don't have all the access for this "Lite" version.

I just want to ask is there something I am missing or is there problem from application developers end?

Not totally sure what your question was but assuming that 3rd paragraph about 'no access to Lite version' meant you couldn't login then I've answered it. – Peanut Jan 4 at 8:11
That is the only app that Diomo Software have on the Play Store, they don't have any other versions of that app available to download from the store at all. – GAThrawn Jan 11 at 11:46
@GAThrawn: thanks for your support. But How can i get "pro" version then? i am not getting any clue in "lite" version to upgrade it to "pro" version. – Bhavesh Jan 11 at 11:48
@Bhavesh it looks like you have to buy a subscription to be upgraded from the Lite version, as in Peanut's answer. What they're selling is a a Pro service, not a Pro app. – GAThrawn Jan 11 at 12:15
Please read the answer and comments. This is not an Android issue, you are simply misunderstanding the nature of the app/service. – Matthew Read Jan 11 at 17:18

You did get the correct version. The "Lite" you're referring to is there because the app is free, although you can buy it. In order to use the Lite version you need to create an account on their website as instructed when you open the application. If you then sign in with that the application should work for you.

The differences between the Lite version and the paid for versions are the amount of storage you get, the amount of devices you can use it on and the lack of ability to use the Ms Word Export and Custom logo on PDF report functions.

@Bhavesh perhaps you should make it more clear what your problem is then and say why this didn't work. What are trying to get help with? Have you paid for the app so are expecting the full version? If so then this answer won't help sorry, however if you haven't paid then you will get "DataDroid Forms Pro Lite" which is the free version, as I do state in the answer and also explain how to access it. – Peanut Jan 11 at 11:27

This is definitely an app specific problem. Seems like this app follows the freemium model, you'll need to contact the author (datadroid at datadroid.com). You'll probably get a better answer than here. – ce4 Jan 11 at 12:56

See this comment by another angry customer, we can't help you here. – ce4 Jan 11 at 13:03

@t0mm13b It might be misleading and even intentionally so but I think it hinges on the fact that seeing "pro" in the name and assuming that you get every possible feature for free is not a reasonable assumption. It's also free, so the consumer is not losing anything -- they can't be protected by law from something that does no harm. – Matthew Read Jan 11 at 17:27
