So, is there any app that lets me do that?

I generally copy full folders which I take from my friends so there are many crappy songs that come to my playlist too. I really need a way to delete the songs from the Music Player interface itself rather than using a File Manager to delete them.

Jet audio basic/plus app does exactly what you want. in its UI, click on Songs tab to display all of your musics in one place, then play one you want. when playing, if you want to delete it, click menu and tap on delete. Then it would delete the playing track and plays next one. – yrajabi Jan 6 at 13:41

In my default music player app [1] I can delete songs just by long pressing on the title and choosing for "Delete". Are you sure there is no such option?

In Walkman app of Xony Xperia S, I can not delete a current playing song. I can delete others with a Long Press if I go back to the playlist interface and do it. It's not very comforting when I am on a Treadmill running. – shadyabhi Jan 6 at 9:28
