I want to be able to connect to my VPN connection whenever I am connected to wifi, is it possible to add a shortcut on the home screen where the widget including wireless, Bluetooth, GPS, sync and brightness options is?

Did you try the answer? Were you successful using it? – Sid Jan 22 '13 at 3:35
@Sid: Not yet, I'd rather do it directly using the phone capabilities without installing those apps. I might try them soon! – Gigili Jan 22 '13 at 4:10

Yes. This is possible

Use 1-vpn app which lets you do this. But, it's not compatible with Android 4.0+, and you have to pay for it (only a $0.90). If the payment is worth the burden you go through every time you connect, that's your best option. Alternatively you can use 5-vpn which is free and requires you to go through 5 taps to connect.

Your last alternative is VPN show which is only capable of taking you to your vpn settings screen.

use "vpn menu" . It is free and better.

Would you mind to... a) explain why it's better b) provide a link where it can be found? In its short form, your answer is not much helpful. – Izzy Feb 25 '13 at 13:36
