I downloaded ClockworkMod Recovery using heimdall in my Galaxy S 9000 via USB. On the terminal, I got the message shown below that everything was successful. Once it tried to reboot after showing the logo of Galaxy S 9000, the battery was dead. I plugged it to the wall charger, but the battery logo on the display does not switch to green. It only shows an empty battery logo. When I press volume up + home + power, I can get into Recovery mode, but I cannot reboot.

After showing me the message shown below, it did not reboot. It was stuck, showing me the logo of Galaxy S 9000.

How can I charge the battery? If the only solution is that I have to get/borrow a new battery, could I reboot the system again?

Any suggestions?

Have you tried charging for at least 15 minutes without touching anything? – geffchang Feb 11 at 13:06
