I'm an android newbie. I unlocked my HTC One S(ville c2) and rooted it before. Then I relocked the bootloader and get the phone back to stock with RUU.

It is with Android 4.0.3 and 2.09 Hboot, not rooted. And now I get the official OTA notice for android 4.1.

Since without much experience, I hesitate to download the OTA package. I heard that Hboot may go up to 2.11 with the OTA updates.

So I want to know that can I unlock the bootloader again with the unlock.bin file if I receive the OTA updates? Thanks.

You certainly can unlock it again but I doubt it that the old solution will work for 4.1 as well. You probably have to look for a solution specific to JB. – Hamed Momeni Feb 3 at 19:24
