I did a factory reset on my Ubislate 7c+ due to some reasons.

After that, I can't surf or make and receive any calls anymore. The signal is not showing. When attempting to take the net, it shows the device is not registered: error code 0001.

Have you checked your APN settings (for the surf part)? Though that would not explain the calls problem. The SIM is accepted? Maybe worth a try: Shut down, take out the SIM, put it in again (or try with a different one to check if something's broken with the one currently in, wouldn't be the first time I've seen such), boot up, check if it works. Make sure the device doesn't show any SIM error (like "Please insert SIM"). If that doesn't work, a logcat might prove helpful. – Izzy Feb 14 at 7:51

UBI surfer will not work forever once the tablet is restored/factory reset for any reason.

In application menu one can find another internet icon which will not show error message and connects to the internet.

That means we have Two internet browsers, one is "Internet UBI surfer" and another is android "internet brower" (which can be seen in app menu. dont get confused as icons for both browsers look same). UBI surfer requires registrations etc., where android internet browser do not require any registration.

I have come to know it from Datawind customer care and verified with using sim. Its OK. Dont get panic and try patiently.
