I have a problem with Note 2's camera where the display is boosting the saturation, and there is no way for me to evaluate the actual colours of the FINAL image.

I usually shoot with a DSLR and when using my Note 2, the colour in the live-display and the colour of the final image that is saved on my device are different.

In the live display, it will be overly saturated.

In the Gallery, where it reads from my device memory(SD card or internal), the saturation is much lower. (I do prefer it that way)

Now you may say, "So what's the problem? It just seems overly saturated. In the end you still get an okay photo"

True, however, that also means that it is extremely hard to pick the correct white balance option. Looking at the screen switching between white balance options is more or less a guess. One option is extremely yellow and the other one is extremely blue. I have to guess the outlook of the final image.

Is there any way to solve this or is using a 3rd party camera app the only way out?

Thanks!
