New Android user here.
I am trying to use music which is stored as offline through the music player on a nexus 4.
The player itself sees it and I can play it offline, but the apps can't find the tracks.
I've downloaded a few alarm clocks now which allow music and none of them can find the tracks.
I tried moboplayer, which seems to scan the phone for media, and it can't find them either.
the phone is on 4.2.2 have also tried to put my own ringtones on with limited success - can add them to the phone, navigate to them with rings extended and select them but the phone then says 'unknown ringtone' and doesn't ring. Not sure if they're connected.
All help is gratefully appreciated. I've searched lots of forums but can't find anything this specific.
