When I get a text message I get the same default "beep beep" vibration for every text message when the phone is set to vibrate. I created a new customized vibration that is continuous for 5 seconds. How do I assign the new customized vibration I created to all incoming text messages?

How did you create the new vibration? The easiest way to actually do this would be to just use a 3rd-party messaging app. I know Handcent can do customized notifications, including the vibration pattern. – bassmadrigal May 1 '13 at 16:44
I created a new vibration by going to Settings > Sound > Device Vibration... at the bottom you will see tabs Cancel - Create - OK... Ill try the Handcent app and see if it works – Okie May 1 '13 at 16:48
