After rooting my KFHD, which was successful, I rebooted into TWRP. The screen went off after a while and did not respond to any buttons, so I hard reset it. Since then, KFHD has been stuck on boot screen (orange, not blue).

ADB is offline, fastboot won't find the KFHD, anyone knows what is going on?

EDIT: I have noticed that Lab126 (KFHD 8.9) device shows up soon after I push the power button, but only for about 3 seconds. ADB and Fastboot still don't work during that period.

Can you please post the link you have followed to root your Kindle Fire HD 8.9? Can you also tell us when you bought your tablet and what kind of version of software was in it? This information might be useful to understand why this happened to you. –  user36139 Jun 18 '13 at 20:27
