I heard talks about the OG Droid. I think that's the original droid (sholes). I'm mainly not sure what the "OG" means in this context.

They are talking about the Droid 1 (Motorola Droid A855). In that context it means "Original" although I've never seen it used to describe "model version" anywhere but the various Android forums and blogs. In the only other context I know it means "Original Gangsta" so maybe that's where it came from.

Yes, "Original Gangsta" ... The phone is certainly consistent with normal usage/meaning the term. I still proudly rock mine. – crazyjncsu Aug 26 '11 at 16:21
I understood it to mean "Original Generation", i.e., the one before Droid 2. – TomG Nov 13 '11 at 2:09
