Android Enthusiasts Stack Exchange is a question and answer site for enthusiasts and power users of the Android operating system. It's 100% free, no registration required.

All the widgets are now 3X2 or larger. I'm unable to change the size as it just floats.

It's not a phone, it's ASUS MeMo 7" tablet running Jelly Bean 4.1.1. Before, the size was 1x1 (I think). The majority of the widgets that have come from downloading Apps have multiple size choices. For instance 'Flipboard' has a small, medium, and large size options. Each specific size is not always available though, even when a home screen page is empty. I'm a virgin to Android, ASUS, and tablets, so that's part of the problem. This battery widget is part of ASUS platform running on top of Android. I'm used to Windows and having full control and my IPhone 5 where I have very little control. I know I can 'root' this tablet, but I just got it and don't want to cause problems until I learn Android.

What size were they before? What phone and Android version are you using? –  geffchang Sep 29 '13 at 6:45
