I Have a Lenovo A390 and I'm having trouble going into the recovery mode. Everytime I boot into recovery mode, a dead android icon with a red triangle appears and nothing happens.

The icon is like this: recovery image)

I waited 2-3 minutes and still nothing happens. What should I do? Should I install a custom recovery? Or what? I'm on stock and my phone is rooted, I rooted it using framaroot. Please Help Me. Thanks. :)

That is the stock recovery screen. When you are on that screen (with the 'dead' android) you need to hold the Power button and then press the Volume Up button. That should get you into the recovery.

If you install a custom recovery then you won't see this screen, it will go straight into the custom recovery. Unless you need to install a custom recovery you can use your phone with the stock recovery.

Or does it have something to do with the permissions of recovery-from-boot.p,I found it on /system using Root Browser,What's the right permission? –  Julius Alfred Oct 22 '13 at 12:20

Hmmm... that should work. You may need to try it a few times, it can be a bit tricky to get right at first. I think the recovery-from-boot.p file is used to restore the stock recovery when booting (if you've flashed a custom recovery). I don't think the permissions would have any affect on reaching the stock recovery. –  bmdixon Oct 22 '13 at 12:58

Is there a right timing to reach the stock recovery? –  Julius Alfred Oct 22 '13 at 21:31
