I'm looking for a call recording app \ mod that works on Galaxy S2 with android 4.4 ROM.

I used several apps with previous versions (mainly on stock ROM's) but none of the apps I tried worked on KitKat ROM

Currently I use Resurrection Remix ROM but I don't mind changing to a different ROM (I understand that CM based ROMs don't have call recording support)

No, I didn't find any – Ophir Yoktan Aug 22 '14 at 12:36
You might want to have a look at this > There are also international laws as well as individual country laws that deem this illegal if not done in accordance with the law. – HasH_BrowN Sep 3 '14 at 22:41
Where I live (Israel) call recording is legal if it's done by one of the participants. – Ophir Yoktan Sep 4 '14 at 5:11

Call Recorder by developer named skvalex is one such application. You may need to install Alsa Mixer as well, depending on your device or kernel.

You can try this application that allows you to record phone calls for :

  • i9300 (S3 mondiales)
  • SCH-i535 (Verizon) SGH-T999
  • (T-Mobile Galaxy S3)
  • SPH-L710 (Sprint Galaxy S3)
  • SGH-I747 (AT & T Galaxy S3)
  • i9100 (Samsung Galaxy S2 (SII)
  • T989 (T-mobile tactile Sprint Epic 4G)
  • SPH-D710 (Sprint Galaxy S2)

Running 2.3 or more.

Please mention the name of at least two of the apps. If the link fails, I'm certain you would find your answer completely unhelpful. – Firelord Oct 9 '15 at 10:38

My suggestion is to go for Call Recorder - ACR, it works fine with my CM11
