I think my previous SMS are stored somewhere in iTunes, can I get them back and store them in my new Android?

Hmmm....Here's one solution. I'm not sure if there's an easier way, but I guess it's worth a shot. I'm pretty sure they're not the same database structure, so you gotta do some editing. If you're interested in that sorta thing, could be fun!

Hope this helps!

Thanks a lot, finally I try that out, It kind of work; I can export the data in to excel, that is the most important thing I need to have, I like to keep record of some SMS However, I cannot import to Android, as it doesn't support Chinese import. which, doesn't really matter for me – Carfield Yim Aug 18 '10 at 16:25
Glad it helped some at least lol – Thomas Aug 18 '10 at 16:48

You can import SMS from iTunes backups using SIM Manager. The program can then save the data to an INI file, you can use that source file to transform the SMS into whatever format is used by Android, and upload them.

This answer to a previous SMS backup and restore question suggests that Very Android SMS Backup should be able to do this. They have a guide on how to do it here: How to transfer SMS to Android from iPhone, Windows Mobile, Nokia, Blackberry etc?

Here is the way you can refer to transfer SMS messages from old iPhone to new Android.

  1. Use iCloud to backup your SMS
  2. Then connect Android phone to your computer
  3. Open the iCloud backup file and copy those SMS to Android phone
