comment How do you install TWRP after rooting?
The good thing about fastboot is that you can try to use the TRWP and see if it works without flashing, doing fastboot boot recovery twrp-3.0.0-0-grouper.img. That way you keep your recovery intact.

@Gilles is a f*king genius. Thanks for you as well! And for the sort... just eyecandy to be ordered on terminal. :)

comment Does TWRP make backup of recovery partition when backing up ROM?
@Izzy Indeed. The suggestion from Mattew is pretty neat.

What EFS is for? How do I search for it? find . -name EFS?

Instead of msm_sdcc.1, is just soc.0. From TWRP itself I can open a terminal and run the dd command. Pretty neat. :)

comment adb doesn't detect my Defy (Motorola MB525) after I call adb kill-server (rageagainstthecage exploit). Any ideas?
Hum, I believe the psneuter wasn't available as an option when I read the wiki. Thanks for this information, it might be helpful for someone in the future!

comment Why sometimes does my lower menu (ADWLauncher - Dockbar) disappears?
Actually, it's possible to disable it. Settings -> ADWLauncher -> General Behavior -> Swipe down actions | Swipe up action -> NONE. Thanks for at least giving me names of what exactly is that menu (ADW launcher).

comment How do I check tcp packets when they were blocked by droidwall?
I've disabled my adsl modem, and tried to do this command, but it didn't save any http packet. Is this command correct? Am I doing something wrong?

Thanks @haimg. The sdcard option is really interesting. If I stop the command, will it have all dumps from before stopping?

Well, thanks for answering about another exploit working. I believe SuperOneClick used gingerbreak as well, since it uses a lot of different exploits to accomplish the root goals.

This isn't a problem with Mac OS X, since I already run these commands and can use them without problem (they're installed using homebrew), but thanks anyway. (I've already come across this hint about sudo on pocketmagic.net/?p=762)

@RyanConrad The problem is: it finds my phone. BUT if i call adb kill-server it stops seeing it. I don't think is a problem with the usb modes, since what I need to be able to use adb is check on debugging mode... but I'm going to try your suggestion.

@RyanConrad this doesn't work either... Even if I remove the usb cable, it doesn't detect after I call adb kill-server. I have to physically reboot my phone. :/

@PadmaKumar When you run adb devices, it automatically starts the server. So, if you try to run adb start-server before doens't matter, you receive the same error: device not found.
