comment Is it possible to disable Google Play updates?
I'm using HTC Desire A8181. I know that theoretically rooting shouldn't break anything, but in case of PC I know practically how to boot it from CD or USB stick in case of emergency, but in case of Smartphone - no idea. I just want to wait until the end of travel season.

comment Update Market Application to Google Play Market Application
Thank you, it also worked for me, the whole stuff with clearing the Market data and restarting the phone and leaving the Market app in peace for a few minutes was necessary.

comment How can I manage contacts on my SIM card with an Android phone?
Sometimes you move SIM card to other phone, e.g. when you travel - smartphones are poor for travels, when you have no electricity, old Nokias work on battery for a week or more
