Three years ago I started scripting - since then I've spent endless hours learning. I don't think I've had a single day in those three years that I haven't learnt something new about computers. And of course, there is no better way to learn than to do - probably why I'd happily rewrite the wheel to find out how it works. Of course my personal favourite is maths. That's why I'm now writing my own programming language.

Dim the back light to low battery level Good find thanks :) Working perfectly so far, I also like the fact that I can set it to 50%, then still use the 3-tier brightness settings the stock power control provides. It's a lot easier on the eyes already, and if I get a battery saving then that's a real plus. |

Sub keys always lit I don't have any notifications... But there are some things running in the background that add items to the notifications menu. Apps like IM+ stay open in the background and leave a status message there... I'll check. |

Sub keys always lit @RyanConrad: How to stop the subkeys lights being on constantly. I know it's not right as that is not how it was a week ago, and I'm guessing it certainly doesn't increase battery life. Sorry, I didn't make it clear in the question, will edit now. |
