I do Technical Support for two businesses; a small ISP and a large University. On the side I run a Minecraft server, fiddle in various Linux distros, and program (mostly Ruby). My last phone was a Nexus S; my current one is a Galaxy Nexus (GSM).

Yakjuxw to Yakju/Takju, will it corrupt or destroy my Galaxy Nexus yakjuxw? Other than possibly voiding your warranty, I am not aware of any reason you could not upgrade your phone @peterdums. I could, of course, be wrong. Notably if the carrier has some required pre-installed app to use the service. |

I need a way to trace GPS trails in the background Considering how many apps can do this @Narayanan, I'm not sure I understand your comment. Enabling GPS cannot be done by an app... but that's not the same as starting to trace, when the GPS is already enabled. |

How do i correct my far-too-sensitive proximity sensor? Installed Z-Device, but it has no active test of the sensor. It just indicates that it works and has a Max range of 5cm. I have no aftermarket anything on the phone. And I don't want to void the warranty installing Cyanogen. Any other ideas? |

Show Unread Messages on email shortcut? There is another app from the same author; a paid sequal, $0.99. You might want to see if that later version works where the other failed, if you're willing to spend a dollar. |
