I do Technical Support for two businesses; a small ISP and a large University. On the side I run a Minecraft server, fiddle in various Linux distros, and program (mostly Ruby). My last phone was a Nexus S; my current one is a Galaxy Nexus (GSM).

comment I need a way to trace GPS trails in the background
I did not. I'm still happy with the GPS Logger solution, but this looks like it would also work, and require no external dependencies.

comment How can I tell if a Watch Later video has been successfully preloaded?
That explains why I was confused... for some reason, despite having the option on, the phone charging, and on WiFi... none of my Watch Later videos have preloaded at all, or even begun to download, in the past week since I enabled preloading.

GPS Logger has been updated to now allow constant logging! And while My Tracks does almost everything right, it did require a separate Tasker plugin. More, it failed to create a new track after being turned off. So, nearly a year later, I'm switching to this.

comment Drive letter for MTP connection under Windows
This answer is backwards; the question is how to mount the phone with a drive letter... not how to mount a drive onto the phone.

comment Yakjuxw to Yakju/Takju, will it corrupt or destroy my Galaxy Nexus yakjuxw?
Other than possibly voiding your warranty, I am not aware of any reason you could not upgrade your phone @peterdums. I could, of course, be wrong. Notably if the carrier has some required pre-installed app to use the service.
