How can I change the behavior of the volume buttons vs. the orientation of the screen Not the solution for me - I don't like adding extra on-screen controls. |

What percentage of users use each of the Android versions? Just a tiny side note for those who don't follow the link: That data is based on devices hitting Google Play (I presume this includes devices checking for updates), so it should be representative of devices in general use. |

Chrome crashes on Acer Iconia A200 Have you tried contacting Acer? I'd see if you can find a reproducable way to make it happen with the built-in apps, then report it to Acer as a bug. Might not get anywhere, but you won't know till you try. |

Can I use (via wifi only) my original VZW Droid without a voice or data plan? Does your droid use a sim card? If nothing else works, try pulling the sim and see if that has any effect. |

How can I disable screen lock feature temporarily? I'm sorry, why are you lending a tablet to someone who you believe is going to mess with it? He may be a friend, but if you feel it's likely that he's going to intentionally do things to your tablet, then don't lend it to him. |

Is it safe to swap SIM cards when the phone is turned on? @EricCloninger - great point. Logically it must be safe to remove/install the SIM from a phone with a fixed battery (presumably with phone turned off), because we do it all the time. I've edited my answer. |

How can I avoid the battery charging when connected via USB? You can try this, but if I'm not mistaken the power uptake is involved in the signalling that a device is present. Therefore, if you cut the power lines, the device may not be recognized! |
