How to remove apps from “all downloaded” in Play Store @Izzy looks like they changed the behavior since I wrote this. Thanks for the heads-up! |

Revoke App Permissions Without Root? @Kidburla Yes. There are numerous apps available in the play store that do just that. Search for APK backup. |

How do I perform a full pre-rooting backup of an Android phone? @Sepero ADB backup allows you to back up all your data. |

How do I open .pls files? I pasted the url from the file into the app but it didn't work either. I'll wait for the update, thanks. |

Change Spotify song while on the background Cyanogenmod allows this, like many other custom roms but only if the display is off. |

Stop Spotify from finishing session due to lack of activity I'm not sure why is this happening. I haven't used Spotify on mobile in a while but nothing like this happened to me. 4+ hour long playlists played without any problems. |

Edit my rom's default “Title Bar” @Pitto The framework-res.apk in the /system/framework/ folder. if you decompile it, check in the res/values/ folder. styles.xml holds most system-wide styles, so probably that's where it is. It might be called WindowTitle but I only have 4.0 roms at hand so I can't check. |

Edit my rom's default “Title Bar” @LieRyan I've seen roms that have different default title bars, so it's definitely possible. Even one of the default CM7 themes changed it's size. It's probably somewhere in the framework-res's styles. |

make website offline available and browse later without 3G connection You seriously want the full web site? Looking at it, it could be huge (in the several gigabyte range). @offby1 Well the site he linked to seems to do all rendering on the server side, so it should be as "easy" as downloading every page and the images, stylesheets than rewriting all urls. On the desktop there are software that do this. In fact it could be as simple as a few dozen LOC. |

Missing backtick from soft keypad @AlEverett This is faceplam worthy moment. I've been using it since the first betas and haven't noticed it. Lol. |

What would the effective memory space be in a 8GB Nexus 4? The 16GB one has 12.92GB so the 8GB should have around 5GB. cdn.androidcentral.com/sites/androidcentral.com/files/… |

My space used and free space doesn't add up @eldarerathis I see. Just saw the screenshot saying 13GB and him saying it's the 16GB version I immediately assumed that's the problem. |

How to check an application's checksum or hash on Google Play? I know what SHA3 is. I was asking about the figure of "1000 years". I'm not talking about cloning (what is that anyway?) but making another apk that has the same checksum as the original. It certainly doesn't require 1000 years given adequate processing power. |

How to check an application's checksum or hash on Google Play? "all the people are idiot" Yes. Among other things, more people are technologically illiterate than literate. android.stackexchange.com/questions/12538/… There're also people who don't have internet on their phone, don't have a Google account, don't have Play Store. |

How to check an application's checksum or hash on Google Play? I live in Hungary. I've been doing one variation or another of what I described for more than two years. It's working for me and all people I know. Why do you say that market unlocker is not safe? You're right that it's simple, but it wouldn't benefit Google. What app are you trying to download? Also you're exaggerating. Far less than millions of people are using torrents for downloading apps. Far less. |
